Weapons and mission equipment packages on the U.S. Munitions List are subject to the Arms Export Control Act and require approval for export from the U.S. Department of State. Base configurations for aircraft are available for acquisition through the IDIQ contract with the U.S. Army. TekFusion Global Weapons Management System
A scalable weapons management system that ranges from entry level gun and rocket systems to a fully integrated digital cockpit. Optimized for the Bell 407M, the TFG WMS reduces pilot workload for weapons targeting and deployment. The system includes built-in safety features to ensure the weapons system is not accidentally or prematurely deployed and ensures seamless coordination between the WMS and the PATHFINDER™ Mission Management System.
Advanced EO/IR Sensor
Complete with both visible and infrared sensors, the EO/IR enables long-range, accurate identification of targets to pinpoint threats at a distance and degraded weather, day or night. The EO/IR can be integrated into and displayed directly onto the cockpit Multi-Function Displays (MFD) when equipped with the Bell Basix Pro avionics system.
CFD International Ordnance Mounting System
The CFD International design is a proven, flexible, precision-engineered weapon system for helicopters. It is a low maintenance design with quick disconnect features to enable easy installation and removal of various mission kits such as external auxiliary fuel cells, target spotting laser and mounts, external personnel carriers and weapons mounts. The modularity of the OMS - integrated with high-capacity ammunition magazines - allows for two to four configurable guided and unguided weapons stations and provides an optional sixth station endcap missile mount.

From armored pilot seats and ballistic-tolerant main rotor blades to a self-sealing fuel system and infrared suppression system, the Bell 407M utilizes durable, modern components to operate in any tactical environment. Equipped with passive detection of surface-to-air missiles and protection through chafe-flare.
TekFusion Global PATHFINDER™ Mission Management System
A customizable tool created from tactical and special operations experience, the MMS enables easy user navigation and seamless command and control of mission execution. The intuitive interface and advanced system enhance operational efficiency while reducing pilot workload. Target locations and ranges can be passed from PATHFINDER™ to an optional digital WMS. Launch Acceptable Regions (LAR) or Weapons Engagement Zones (WEZ) can be displayed on the PATHFINDER™ moving map.
Additional Armament
The Bell 407M can accommodate a wide range of armament, ranging from 7.62 mm machine guns/gun pods, .50 caliber machine guns/gun pods and 2.75 inch rockets/rocket pods plus the precision-guided Advanced Precision Kill Weapon Systems (APKWS), Griffin and HELLFIRE missiles.
